We’re always adding the latest titles in print, music, and film/television to the library’s collection. Look for the moving sliders on the homepage or over on the New Releases page and click on an image to go straight to the online catalog to place a hold.

Room Reservations

The Northlake Public Library District offers a variety of rooms to rent for individuals, groups, or organizations looking for meeting space. Fill out our online form to get your request started, and make sure to note our policies and guidelines regarding room reservations.

Valentine’s Day Chocolates

Drop in the library lobby on Valentine’s Day and enjoy a sweet treat. We’ll have our chocolate fountain flowing with an assortment of items for dipping starting at 7:00pm.

January Board Meeting

The Board of the Northlake Public Library District will hold their regular meeting this Thursday, January 18, from 6:30 to 8:45pm, in the Lower Level of the library. Members of the public are invited and welcome to attend.

Spring 2018 Newsletter

Our Spring 2018 Newsletter has arrived, and is available to download from the website. You can also view all of the spring events and programs on our Event Calendar. Print copies of the newsletter are also available.

December/January Closings

The Northlake Public Library District will be closed December 24 – 26, and will be open regular hours December 27 – 30. The library will again be closed December 31 – January 2, and will resume regular hours on January 3.

Christmas Cookie Bar

Happy holidays from the Northlake Public Library District! An assortment of Christmas cookies will be available in the lobby courtesy of the library staff. No registration required. Tuesday, December 19, 5-9 p.m

Closed for Thanksgiving

The Northlake Public Library District will be operating under holiday hours next week. On Wednesday, November 22, the library will be open 9am to 5pm. The library will be closed Thursday, November 23, and Friday, November 24, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The library will re-open Saturday, November 25, following regular hours.

Having trouble with a computer issue? We’re here to help! Simply call or stop by the Adult Reference desk and make an appointment with a librarian for some one-on-one assistance. We can cover software like MS Office, help you with e-mail, assist with basic computer instruction, tablet or smartphone issues, or even help you with a research strategy for a school project.
