Homework Help: How It Works
Students connect to a tutor in an Online Classroom for up to 20 minutes
of help. Students and tutors can review specific homework questions using features
such as chat, an interactive white board, and Web co-browsing. When the session
is over, students can print their session for future reference or to share with
a parent, guardian, or teacher.
Before You Connect ...
Practice. Try the Practice Online Classroom. Once you feel comfortable, you can go back and connect to an expert tutor.
Make sure your computer has the Basic System Requirements for Live Homework Help. You may have to download the Online Classroom Plug-ins.

Please bring a question to your Homework Help session and get ready to learn!
Our tutors will help you with your questions but they won't simply give you
the answers. Respect your tutor as you would your teacher. Do not use inappropriate
language or share inappropriate materials in the classroom

1. Go to the Live Homework Help program
provided by the Suburban Library System.
STEP 2. Select the language you speak.
STEP 3. Select the subject you need help in -- math, English, science, or social
studies
STEP 4. Select your grade level
STEP 5. Tell us if you have used Live Homework Help before.
STEP 6. Click "Go" and connect immediately to a tutor in the Online Classroom
for a 20-minute session!
