Summer Learning 2017

Summer Learning 2017

Our 2017 summer learning program, Camp Curiosity, offers kids an opportunity to both read for fun and complete their choice of activities. Kids can check in once a week to show us their progress and earn a prize from our treasure box. All kids who finish the reading portion of the program will receive a free paperback book, a drawstring backpack, and a Brookfield Zoo pass. Kids who also complete five activities will be entered into a raffle for one of four grand prizes.

If you are aged 13 to 18, there’s no need to register! On our homepage, find the banner for Teen Summer Reading, and click on the picture of the Goku FunkoPop to access the survey page to report on the books or movies you have read or watched. Winners will be drawn at the end of the program for a variety of prizes featured in the display case on the second floor.

Adults over 18 with a NPLD library card in good standing are automatically registered. On July 31st, we’ll be looking at those cardholders who have checked out a high number of materials (books, movies, etc.) and we’ll be awarding several Amazon Gift Cards to those with the most checkouts.
