Homebound Delivery

We offer this service to those patrons who are not able to visit the library and reside in Northlake, Stone Park, or unincorporated Leyden Township. ‘Homebound’ is being confined to one’s residence either temporarily due to illness or accident, or permanently due to disability, age, or other mobility issues. This service is open to all ages.

  • Fill the form below to register for Homebound Delivery. You can also call us at 708.562.2301 or email us at homedelivery@northlakelibrary.org.
  • You may make specific or general requests for materials. For example, some patrons ask for specific titles each month, and others request three mysteries per week and we select the titles.
  • You may request most of our materials through Homebound Delivery (excludes iPads, Hotspots, and Library of Things items).
  • Items checked out through Homebound Delivery have a one month checkout and there are no renewals on AV or New Materials.
  • Deliveries are made once a month, on the first Monday of the month.
  • There is no charge for this service.
  • Patrons do not receive late fines for overdue materials.
  • Replacement fees are charged for lost or damaged items.
